This piece depicts the subject matter looking for something in the distance. Despite her youth and beauty there is a sense of longing for something unknown, something in the distance, something outside of herself. The monochromatic colour scheme a "black and white" frame of mind. This piece serves as a reminder that "everything we seek exists within".
